UNIVERSITY REPRESENTATIVE
PROFILE
UKESC has considerable, wide-ranging experience of education in the UK and the West Indies and has been helping Caribbean students select and apply successfully to study in the UK for 20 years. We provide FREE counselling on all matters of concern to Caribbean students considering study in the UK, including suggestion of courses appropriate to students’ interests and qualifications; information about costs and scholarships; and information about the universities. We also provide FREE application assistance and follow up help throughout the year to students who apply to the universities we work with, with a pre-departure briefing, including visa information, in Barbados in March/April. We have personal contacts at each of our universities so we are equipped with current information and are well-placed to help resolve issues and support applicants coming to our universities right up until the point of arrival. With our experience in the Caribbean (familiarity with qualifications, procedures, visa processes, local contacts, and the fact that we are constantly in touch with many other students applying from the Caribbean) we can often help resolve issues that students may struggle to resolve with the universities directly, and share locally-relevant information. All UKESC’s assistance is entirely free of charge. Please ensure you let us know if you are applying to any of our universities, so we can support you and keep you informed about relevant matters – we cannot help you if we do not know you have applied. |
